- Kitchens do sell houses.
- Kitchen Remodels do offer a fantastic Return on Investment (ROI).
- We spend a lot of time in our kitchens…cooking, dining, congregating, working and playing... that’s why kitchens are considered the most satisfying remodel.

Then a good rule of thumb is to spend as much as you hope to make back when you sell- IF you expect to sell in the next five years. However, if you have no plans on listing and selling your home within the next five years, the conventional wisdom is to spend as much as you need to create a kitchen that serves you and your family well and beautifully, as you will spend the next five years enjoying it.
